About Me

I am Changyu Wang 王昌钰, an Application Algorithm Engineer in the Core Data Science team at J.D. Corp. My research work spans data mining, applied machine learning, and computational social science domains, with a focus on recommender systems and graph mining.

Before joining J.D., I graduated with a Ph.D. in Cyber Science and Engineering from Xi’an Jiaotong University. During my Ph.D. period, I worked on Entity characteristics mining on generalized networks including Internet traffic classification, heterogeneous network crawling, and online social media target query mining.

I was fortunate to have been advised by Prof. Xiaohong Guan in the Ministry of Education Key Lab for Intelligent Networks and Network Security (MOE KLINNS Lab), During the year 2017 to 2019, I was sponsored by China Scholarship Council (CSC) as a visiting scholar in DAIS lab, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne mentored by Prof. Kevin Chen-Chuan Chang.
